Who are we?

We are a growing specialty candy brand focused on gourmet gum and gummy bears built around fun and unique flavors like our best-selling Birthday Cake and Rainbow Ice as well as one of a kind seasonal offerings like Sour Caramel Apple. We also have a natural snack brand line called Good Squared that is a delicious granola type snack for on the go. Our name comes from the fact that daily we’re funding 7 different types of giving projects as customers purchase, like hunger, shelter and clean drinking water to name a few.

Some of our retail partners include but are not limited to; Target, Starbucks, Wegman’s, Caribou Coffee, Forever 21, American Airlines, CVS, and Walgreens to name a few. All of our products are made in America. We are based in sunny downtown San Clemente, California where you can walk to a coffee shop or go to the beach on your lunch. How great does that sound?

National Account Manager

Job Description

You are a self starter, enjoy building things and are highly motivated with a strategic vision on how to get things done. You have good organizational skills, and vast experience at bringing new products to market but also managing existing ones. You excel at problem solving, working with brokers, distributors and the end customer and building cross-functional teams.

You are good at motivating people to accomplish shared goals. You thrive in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments and like working for a brand that is agile and can make the most of market opportunities. Your superior organizational skills allow you to stay on top of multiple projects at the same time and help manage all things that come with candy planning such as seasonal programs, in and outs, displays and category reviews. You can handle strategic thinking to detailed execution – and solve for your customers needs while helping the brand improve.

A lot about the job

The National Account Manager will work proactively to manage and grow the long-term relationship with both national and regional accounts and sales opportunities with our company. This role will report directly into the President and is expected to support National Accounts by reacting quickly and effectively to customer issues, planning, broker management, new product presentations, establishing relationships, driving sales and by adapting to the changing organization environment within the accounts and at Project 7 as we grow. A National Account Manager is responsible for driving top line revenue across accounts while forecasting and budgeting the effects of promotions, GWP, and COOP on margin.

  • Expand retail merchandising presence across current customers
  • Add new retail partners
  • Manage national network of brokers with HQ account responsibilities
  • Analyze store performance and key category metrics
  • Ensure adoption and promotion of new Project product offerings such as Organic Gummy Bears and Good Squared line of snacks.
  • Negotiate Vendor Agreements
  • Create and execute marketing and sales strategies across distribution channels
  • Analyze and recommend optimal product mix on a per store basis.
  • Travel on sales calls and manage trade shows


Minimum of 3-5 years in consumer packaged goods experience (preferably in the Candy or Snack Channel) is necessary for consideration of this role with Key Account management and Headquarter experience.

Design Wizard

Who are you?

A talented creative that is passionate and motivated and wants to work at a job that is more than just a paycheck but at a company that has a bigger purpose to its core that leaves a legacy for years to come. Ideally, this person will be a driven individual with an entrepreneurial spirit, resourceful, innovative, forward thinking and committed. A designer with packaging design experience along with consumer product design is preferred as this is core to our business. This person also enjoys a fast-paced environment with many different weekly and ongoing projects to manage.

The Role

Project 7 is currently looking for a Design Wizard to join a, high-energy design team in their Orange County headquarters. The ideal candidate has 6+ years of experience in interactive and user interface design and a passion for creativity. Individual must be able to work independently as well as collaboratively with the design team, product managers, clients, and with other departments. Individual must be a creative thinker, detail-oriented, confident and able to express ideas in an articulate, well thought-out manner. Ability to multi-task and prioritize deadlines is a must.


Brand standards, Package, POS, Online marketing assets and direction, New products, Interactive and web design in support of Project 7’s brand & marketing efforts.


  • BA or BFA degree in Graphic Design preferred
  • Minimum 6+ years professional design experience
  • Must have excellent typographic and conceptual design skills; a package or apparel portfolio is required
  • Thorough knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
  • Solid user interface design skills
  • Solid presentation skills
  • Understanding of information architecture
  • Macintosh OS X proficiency required
  • Leadership & Project management experience a plus

Working Conditions

Position is full-time, based in San Clemente, California. Initially, the position will require 0% travel. Actual travel may vary up or down based on specific business activity and demands at any given time.
